I heard at the London (UK) VMS-event that NXTWare Remote doesn't support modern GitHub. Is that correct?

I just put together a video showing the GitHub support in NXTware Remote; it shows modifying code on OpenVMS in an NXTware Remote project shared with Git and shows how to share a NXTware Remote project with Git: https://youtu.be/3FzQQNMgb_c

Most people we talk to don’t know GitHub, so we usually demo CMS, TFS and SVN because they are well know in the OpenVMS community. Git has been supported in Eclipse for years, so if you have used it before, it will work on OpenVMS. It sounds like I need to do a video on how to use GitHub with NXTware Remote on OpenVMS and post it on our site so folks can see how it works.

sorry for the typo – should be ”because they are well known in the OpenVMS community.”

That is incorrect. NXTware Remote supports GitHub through Eclipse, which has had support for it for many years. Anyone who uses Eclipse for Continuous Integration is aware of this. As for our support on OpenVMS, we allow a remote project to be created on OpenVMS (or linux) and you can select Git as the repository. The path will automatically be changed for you.
